We found this location years ago when the girls traveled with us...several times when we just couldn't brave the cold nights of the higher elevations of our favorite Colorado camping spots, we'd tool on down to Red River, New Mexico, to camp on the banks of Cabresto Creek and kick-back to listen to the water and watch a nice campfire:
